I think the colors are lighter than they were in Photoshop, but that's ok, you get the idea. :)
I did this study today after a long day of working out perspective, I decided I needed a break and wanted to work the color side of my brain. Sooooo... I tried my hand at looking out the window to paint this red rose! I was working on mixing the correct hue, value, and saturation for all the colors. I have been doing a lot of walking around the town just observing the light and also trying to understand shaddows and how everything works, and finally I decided it was time to put my knowledge to the test. It was fun. More later.
